White Sand Lake in Boulder Junction is one of the least populated nice lakes in Northern Wisconsin. A large percentage of the lake is state owned which results in 25.7 acres of water per owner and only 5.3 owners per mile of shoreline. It is pretty rare for properties to come up for sale on the lake. The water is clear (about 20’ clarity) and the lake has a nice hard sand bottom. There is a great public beach on the lake. Another nice perk of White Sand Lake is the easy access to the bike trail system that runs around Boulder Junction. It is one of the nicer bike trails in the area. The lake is 746 acres and has an average depth of 33 feet. For more information on White Sand Lake you can check out my Blog Post.
