Alder Lake is on the Manitowish Waters Chain of Lakes. While part of the chain, it still gives a secluded feel thanks to the one mile or so it takes to get to Manitowish Lake. Alder Lake is easy to access on the east side. The west side calls for a longer drive as you have to navigate around the chain. It is a deep 264 acre public lake that is a 10-15 minute drive from Manitowish Waters depending on where your home is located. The water is clear and there is nice vegetation surrounding the lake.
