Biking/Walking/Ski Trails:
Madeline Trails - An easy to moderate level 16.5 mile unpaved trail that is groomed in the winter for cross country skiing. Biking and hiking are not allowed in the winter. The trail has rolling terrain. A trail pass is required for skiing and biking.
Snowmobile Trails:
The Sayner-Star Lake Barnstormers and Cross Country Cruisers trail systems run on all four sides of Big Arbor Vitae.
ATV Trails:
The Lakeland ATV Club Trails run to the north of the lake. It is an ATV trail system that runs from south of Minocqua over to St. Germain.
