Crampton Lake

   Crampton Lake is a larger, relatively deep Northwoods lake known for clear water and a more expansive feel than nearby small lakes. The fish community typically includes walleye, bass, northern pike, and panfish, providing good variety for anglers. Recreational use includes fishing, boating, and lakeside vacations, with room for both quiet coves and more open-water activity. Forested shorelines and limited development maintain a fairly natural character.
