Day Lake

   Day Lake is a small, quiet lake ringed by mixed forest and wetland habitat. Its size and generally calm conditions make it best suited for paddling and light fishing rather than intensive motorized use. Panfish and bass make up the core of the fishery, particularly in vegetated nearshore areas. The natural setting offers good opportunities for spotting loons, waterfowl, and other wildlife.
