Hay Creek Flowage

   Hay Creek Flowage is a managed impoundment that combines broad, shallow bays with more channel-like sections influenced by water-level control. Fluctuating depths and scattered structure create varied habitat for warmwater fish species. Boating is generally better suited to smaller craft capable of navigating stump fields and shallow areas. The marshy fringe and wooded uplands offer excellent opportunities for viewing waterfowl and other wildlife.
