     Little Crawling Stone Lake is located on the Fence Lake Chain. Little Crawling Stone connects to Crawling Stone Lake via a channel on the eastern side of the lake.  It is a smaller lake at 113 acres, but it has an average depth of 18 feet and a clarity of 16 feet. One of the nice things about Little Crawling Stone is that it does not see the traffic that the rest of the Fence Chain sees, so it is a quiet small lake with easy access to the big waters of the Fence Chain.  There are 2.3 miles of shoreline on the lake and about 26 owners per mile of shoreline.  There are about 1.9 acres of water per owner on the lake.

          Biking/Walking/Ski Trails:
              
               Lac Du Flambeau Bike Route -  The Lac Du Flambeau Bike Route runs on the north side of Crawling Stone Lake and offers two loop lengths (depending whether you go around Flambeau Lake or Pokegama Lake) of 7 and 11 miles from the starting point in downtown Lac Du Flambeau.  There are bathroom available at the starting point.  The route is a road route so it isn't a perfect biking option, but it is a marked route so drivers should be more aware of your presence than if you were on a typical back road.
 
              Paddling Routes:
               No nearby paddling routes but the Fence Lake Chain is huge and you can paddle for days taking it all in.
 
              Snowmobile Trails:
               The Northern Hornshoe Snowmobile Club Trails run to the north of the lake. This trail system consists of more than 28 miles of groomed trails around Lac Du Flambeau. The trail system connects to other systems giving you access to anywhere you want to go explore on your sled.
