Rice Lake

   Rice Lake is a modest-sized lake with extensive stands of wild rice and other emergent vegetation along portions of the shoreline. The combination of open water and marshy fringe supports a warmwater fish community, including panfish and northern pike. Boating is generally light and best suited to small boats and paddling craft. The wild rice beds and wetlands provide important habitat for waterfowl and other wildlife.
