Aurora Lake

Aurora Lake is a shallow, marsh-fringed lake known for its abundant aquatic vegetation and strong wildlife habitat. The emergent plants and soft-bottom areas create excellent conditions for paddling, wildlife viewing, and light fishing.

Rather than functioning as a high-speed boating lake, Aurora offers a slower, nature-forward experience. Panfish and bass are common in the vegetated zones, and the surrounding shoreline supports waterfowl, songbirds, and other Northwoods wildlife.
