Stone Lake (SG)

   Stone Lake is a shallow 178 acre public lake that is part of the Sugar Camp chain of lakes. The lake is mostly marsh and is sparsely populated. The water is moderately clear. Stone Lake near St. Germain is a shallow, roughly 180-acre lake on the Sugar Camp Chain with marshy shorelines, sparse development, and moderately clear, stained water. The lake feels more like a quiet back bay of the chain than a polished stand-alone resort lake with abundant wetlands and wildlife.
