Stormy Lake

There are a lot of really nice lakes in Northern Wisconsin. Very few compare to Stormy Lake. The Marl bottom and extreme clarity of Stormy Lake give it a beautiful Carribean-like aqua blue coloring. While Stormy is a little more than 15 minutes from the stores in Eagle River, you can find gas in nearby Conover. There are parts of the lake that offer high speed dsl internet which is a nice perk. The lake is pretty much a huge swimming pool. It's great for all water activities, though not the best around for fishing.
